Arrival Time: 8:00 AM (set up gear if desired) Plein Air Demo: 8:30 to 11:30 AM by Julie Rogers Luncheon in the Sculpture Garden: 12:00 noon Speaker: 12:30 to 1:30 PM by Laura Paulson Howe Questions and Linger Longer: 1:30 PM Finish Time: 2:00 PM Place: Springville Museum of Art Address: 126 East 400 South, Springville UT Early Price: $40 until July 3th Late Price: $50 last week if seating is available |
Arrive at 8:00 AM at the Springville Museum of Art on the north grounds to set up your own gear if you would like to participate personally in plein air painting. You may paint various areas of the grounds or you may also paint the model where Julie Rogers will be demonstrating. If you prefer, you may choose to simply watch and take notes. No matter how you chose to join in the action it is sure to be an amazing learning experience. At noon we will move to the Stewart Sculpture Garden for a luncheon under the pavilion, followed by lecture from Laura Paulson Howe, art curator of the Church History Museum.
